Now that we're in Melior, I thought I could go see my parents back home, but... they weren't there when I got inside. Maybe they're on vacation? I mean, a year away from them is long, but they still should have told me if they were going away somewhere. I think I might go ask some neighbors and family friends if they know anything. There's still furniture and stuff here, so they haven't moved to a new place.
Super duper mega bummer... and I was looking forward to seeing them. If they don't come back before we take off again, I'll just leave a note.
(sigh) This really sucks.
