[concert report] Kanjani8 JUKE BOX Tour @ Fukuoka Dome - 2014年1月1日
As promised, here's the con report that I was supposed to write long ago.
It was my first time seeing Eito, and I only went to one show because plane tickets were quite expensive so I had to sacrifice the other show. T.T /too bad/
I went with defiancebyfire and @ lakuru.

Stage #1 - the main stage

So the morning of that day, we traveled all the way from Osaka through the shinkansen, although I went ahead first because I did not avail the rail pass unlike them. The shinkansen and Hakata Station were filled with Eighters. xD
I arrived at Hakata station around 11:30ish in the morning and waited for them to arrive.
We went to look for our hotel after that. Around 1pm, we went to Fukuoka Dome.
I went to buy the con goods for my friends from the Philippines and myself, while the two of them roamed around the city and visited temples.
The line for the con goods was UNEXPECTEDLY long. The tents were situated in front of the 5th or 7th gates of the dome, and the end of the line for the goods was at gate 2, so I had to walk around the dome just to get there.
It wasn't easy because the wind was so cold and really strong. I was in line for about four hours just to get those goods, and was already shivering because I wasn't used to that kind of climate /hello, Philippines, tropical, duh/
Around 20 minutes before 5pm (the start of the con), I finished and went inside the dome.

BRULEE. They started with this song, which is one of my favorites. When the intro was played, they were still unseen. Seconds later, there was this explosion effect, the white curtain started falling, and finally, the boys were there. Playing their instruments on the stage. Ugh. Ryo was wearing red and was so handsome, I can't. T.T
I was expecting too much from this song because during their past concerts, they used to dance this and now, they're playing it as a band. And that was my total weakness. T.T
YUYAMI TRAIN. This song is heartwarming. One of my faves from the album. At the end, Ryo and Yasu put their foreheads together and we were like 'kyaaa, stahp that' <3
UCHUU NI ITA RAION. Okay, this perf was perfection. It is one of those songs where your heart wanted to burst. Maybe because of the lyrics of seeking freedom and so, but also maybe because of the perfection. Subaru's voice was so loud and powerful, Yasu's "tooku he" was <3 and I was focused on Maru's bass because it was too good. The dome was like full of Maru's bass. :))
LIFE~ Me no Mae no Mukou e. OKAY, I admit I wasn't that much attached to this song compared to other Eighters, but when they played this, I was filled with too much feels and started crying. /lol/ I didn't expect this song to make me emotional, really. I know this song gave hope to many Eighters years ago, yet I didn't realize it was such a PERFECT song. A REALLY PERFECT SONG. <3
End of band session.
DEAR SUMMER-SAMA. The first part of this song (Tacchon's and Yasu's intro part, that "aa, sugoi" one) was performed at stage #1. They transferred to stage #3.
AOPPANA. Performed at stage #3, which was the closest to us. I could see them doing those "Eighters gonna Eight" dance steps and I was like "these guys, really. <3"
T.W.L. Also performed at stage #3. Too much love for this song. I was feeling a mixture of feels because the night before, at NHK Kouhaku, there was this TORN ACCIDENT and I was looking forward if that will happen again. lol. <3
TAKOYAKI IN MY HEART. They did this at stage#1. This song never failed to amaze me. Upon watching this, I realized that I just can't give up on these guys. They're just too precious, I'm glad I am their fan.
* Hina - Double-toothed money-grubber xDDD LOL
* Yasu - cuteness overload okay
* Ryo - OMG THIS WAS LIKE EPIC. Eighters were like "woooooh" at the end of his every line. Finally, he pronounced it as "YAKISOBA"and not "YAKISUBA(from the studio version)". This guy is too precious, okay.
* Subaru - OKAY, every time that censored sound comes out, this illustration of uhm, an erect something raises on his mic and I was like OMG WHAT SUBARU IS THIS REALITY. At the end of his part, he was ABOUT TO BURST IN LAUGHTER and it was just cuuuute <3
* Maru - He had that scary Hannya mask, stuff toy, baby doll, tissue papers, etc. I was like "Do I really love this guy or what"
* Yoko - His tongue twister "Nishinakajima minamigata" xD So proud of the guy <3
* Tacchon - He played the taiko drums
SORRY SORRY LOVE - Performed at stage#1. This song is my most favorite in the album, despite the autotune and such. I was like 'here comes this song, here comes this song' because this was my most-looked-forward-to song in the concert. I went all the way from the Philippines just to see this, ほんまに。 In the end, I was only able to keep my feels to myself because I just observed how beautiful this perf was. T.T
DYE D - Performed at stage#2. I Literally died at this song. Right after Sorry Sorry Love, they performed this. T.T I noticed that their dance steps were a bit different compared to the Eight x Eighter one.
WATER DROP - Performed at stage#3. I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH. Eito really knows how to kill their fans. Sorry Sorry Love, Dye D, and Water Drop: those songs in a row. T.T I love the ExE perf so muuuuch btw.
NAMIDA NO KOTAE - The transition from Water Drop to Namida no Kotae was too 苦しい to the heart. T.T . Had goosebumps all over. I remember the transition between Water Drop and Fight for the Eight from Eight x Eighter concert. T.T
Lyrics + mood + feels = TEARS!
HIBIKI - The first time they performed it live. The pv was being flashed on the screen. A girl who's taking care of a guy who is soon be operated in the eye.
SEISHUN NOSTALGIE - Performed at stage#3 (Again, closest to us). This song has this summer-y feel to it. I remember Kawaita Hana performance from PUZZLE concert, where they had this awesome harmony and such. Subaru's intro ("Ai wa nosutaruji ---") was too precious to the heart. I could feel my heart crying inside. T.T Remember this perfect performance of this song by Subaru and Skoop on Somebody. Add Yoko's trumpet and let us all go to a FEEL TRIP. T.T
KURAGE -
Also performed at stage#3. The lights were all off except the ones on Yasu and Yoko. The rest of K8 was at the side, paving way for the two. Yasu started the song with his acoustic guitar and later sang. BAD THING WAS THAT AT THIS SONG, YASU'S MIC WAS DEFECTIVE; it wasn't functioning. So he continued singing instead, and Yoko played his trumpet SEXILY. YES, I UNEXPECTEDLY found Yoko hot during that time. T.T He was only wearing a white shirt(plus black pants, of course!), his sweat were seen all over the screen, his trumpet playing was <3, and his hair is also <3.
This is hot for me, I guess. <3
At the end of that first verse, before the rest of K8 were about to sing, Tacchon suddenly said on his mic, "Hey, Yasu's mic is defective!" to the staff, and the dome was filled with laughter. xD The other members' laughing faces during that time was priceless. {C}
KOKORO SORA MOYOU. Performed at stage#1. Okay, Ryo's guitar intro was <3. I think I was more in love with Ryo than with Maru during that part. Hahaha. I love that song too much. Band sessions are the best :)

Beast unit vs. Kari kari unit - Scores were seen at the screen. Then BEAST intro was heard.
BEAST -
As I have been very busy with studies for the past months, I didn't have enough time to check on pictures and stuffs. I only saw some fundoshi pictures from friends' posts, and I've also read a con report about them stripping. OKAY. So during the concert, I was really shocked. SHOCKED TO DEATH.
The performance began with the back-up dancers on stage#1. Then Maru appeared with that sexy-slash-HOT businessman attire. His balloon character came out from the right side of the stage. HE WAS SO SEXY AND HOT ON THAT ATTIRE, OKAY. /dies
Hina also appeared later and then Ryo. I thought that as they sing, they'll strip AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. So after a few minutes, they went to stage#3 without even a sign of an attempt to strip, so I already relaxed and thought "OKAY, THEY WON'T STRIP. MY VIRGIN EYES WILL BE SAVED." What I didn't know was that they are to strip at the bridge part of the song. So after letting my guard down, THEY STRIPPED. AT THAT STAGE, WHICH WAS CLOSE TO US. AND I WAS LIKE "OMG WAIT WHAT I'VE ALREADY LET MY GUARD DOWN, WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?" XD
So, okay, I, only 18 years old that time saw mah bias' sexy ass. xD
They were wearing red fundoshi. But it didn't end there.
At the end, the three lined up, Hina and Ryo at the sides and Maru at the center, and MARU RAISED THE FLYING PART OF THAT FUNDOSHI, LETTING US SEE WHAT WAS HIDING UNDER THAT PART. T_______T For short, we saw the outline of his balls. OKAY. GOOD VIEW TO START THE YEAR. :DDDD /laughs, rolls and dies/
@lakuru who was sitting to my left, said, "OMG, SOOOO BIG!" /died
KARI (KARI) - After that mind-blowing and virginity-taking performance, it was time for this another mind-blowing stuff. There was this VTR of black people from New York, etc. Then the four came out. With outrageous and crazy outfits. Yoko, Subaru and Tacchon were wearing animal costumes, while cute Yasu was wearing a carrot costume (similar to that of Subaru's carrot costume in SHAKE performance during 2011-2012 JCD countdown. lol )
The three in animal costumes were circling around Yasu, while Yasu was sitting at the center. Like in ancient tribes where people had to walk around the food before eating. Hahaha, Eito, I am sooo done. T.T
There was this part where Yoko hugged Subaru from behind, and Yoko kept on making "rawr" noises (much like an animal ready to eat another animal, something like that), and Subaru was like 'OMG NOT ME PLS, EAT ANOTHER ANIMAL PLS", but it happened around 3-4x, and it was already turning into something porn-y, and again, @lakuru and I were talking about how this could turn into porn. HAHAHAHAHA THESE GUYS, REALLY.
ANATA E - A video about a letter was flashed in the screen. Another tear-jerker / feels-smashing song. T.T Eito mellow songs are really good. T.T
HESOMAGARI - Performed at stage#1. They did that aerobic (or ERObic, lol) dance again. xD They performed it last night at NHK Kouhaku, with the same costume. HIHIHI XD
ZUKKOKE OTOKOMICHI & MUSEKININ HERO - They roamed around the dome. We were all like dancing with them already. Those hand gestures. I won't forget this part, really. <3 Makes you feel one with Eito and the Eighters. :')
YOUR WULITZER - Band session, played at stage#1. I mistook it for Misetekure (lol, I really did. HAHAHA) because Yasu's guitar was used an an intro. I really enjoyed this song. Ugh for Ryo's first verse. T.T Too precious <3 <3 (Also one of my faves in the album btw.)
WEST SIDE - Subaru's voice. T___T Really. How can I express my love for this song? T.T The guitar. The bass. The drums. The vocals. OMG <3 <3
RESCUE RESCUE - Also one of my favorites in the album. This song's too good. "LESKYUU LESKYUUUU for your love, sugu ni LESKYUU LESKYUUUU for your peace~" xD
EIGHTOPOP - This was I think the part where they threw their freebies to the fans using those guns. Another memorable part because Maru and Ryo were at the same car. T.T Ryo threw his freebie towards us, and it landed quite near to us.
T.T Seconds later, MARU ALSO THREW HIS FREEBIE TOWARDS US, (YES, MY DIRECTION, I WASN'T DREAMING OR ANYTHING) and it landed in front of me, just 10 METERS AWAY FROM ME. T___T And I was almost near to tears because I could have caught it. If Maru only used more force. T.T I could have caught it. T.T But it's okay. Better luck next time, bb. <3
ALL IS WELL - This was their last song. I got the feels of Aoshashin from 8UPPERS DVD. It was very similar. Yasu was the one who spoke in behalf of the group. He thanked us for being there, and that he was very thankful that we were their "first audience" for this year. /hides and cries/
I didn't expect this song to send me to tears. In the end, my two friends were also crying. I think most Eighters did. I was already using Maru's uchiwa to cover my face because my face was already covered with tears. T.T
That was one proud moment for me because these guys started from scratch, they have such a sacrificing history, and being with thousands of their fans, right at that dome, was such a fulfilling moment. You know, that motherly feeling when a child has this achievement. I just can't explain it, but that moment was when I felt glad I settled with that group; that I am an Eighter. I want to see them again, maybe on their 10th anniversary (which is this year).

KOKO NI SHIKANAI KESHIKI - Band again. This song helped me get through my summer class last school year. T.T Such a simple yet perfect song. Them dressed in comfy Kanjani8 mouth shirts. :D
IT'S MY SOUL - Of course, a K8 con won't be complete without this song. I remember the pv of this song traumatized me before, and aroused my curiosity over who K8 was. Because of that pv, I am here now, singing and dancing to that 'traumatizing' song. LOL
It was nice to see thousands of people doing the hand movements of that song. <3
MONJAI BEAT - They roamed around again. This time, when Maru passed by our direction, I raised my uchiwa up to my face, and guess what. He looked at me and WAVED AT ME NONSTOP and I died. T_____T Even though his freebie didn't reach me, he waved at me. Okay, such a fulfilling first time to see him. :') Spending too much on plane tickets, accommodation and con ticket was worth it. <3 I love you, Maru. ^__^

We called them for a second encore but it was really the end.
When the Eighters were already leaving the dome, my two friends and I remained on our seats. We suggested remaining so we can make the most of our concert experience. I was no longer crying, instead, I was wearing this fulfilled smile, but when I looked at my two friends, they were crying. xD They said they didn't expect Eito to get into their hearts like that, although they already went to an Eito con in the past. <3 <3 /cries/
In the end, we went out when almost 90% of Eighters were already outside. My two friends did not buy any K8 concert goods, but when we went outside, they fell in line so they could buy the pamphlet, bag and penlight. They said, "We're going to buy some stuffs because they made us cry."
REALIZATIONS AFTER THE CON:
1. K8 is such a precious group. I can't see them as an idol group but as a band just trying to enjoy music and express themselves. I am so glad that I'm an Eighter. I am so glad that it's these 7 people. <3 T.T
2. Ryo is soooooo handsome despite the creepiness.
3. Maru is such an adorable human being. And extremely hot when serious. xD
4. Hina is admirable.
5. Yasu is kawaii, okay. :3
6. Yoko laughs really loud. Uncontrollable. xD But he can be hot sometimes! :))
7. Tacchon is really a diva. But he turns into someone cool when he plays the drums (much like Maru's unpredictable personality, but when he plays the bass, turns into someone rape-able. xD)
8. Subaru's voice is loud and powerful. Thank you, ossan. ;')

Yoko, Subaru and Tacchon were wearing animal costumes, while cute Yasu was wearing a carrot costume (similar to that of Subaru's carrot costume in SHAKE performance during 2011-2012 JCD countdown. lol )
The three in animal costumes were circling around Yasu, while Yasu was sitting at the center. Like in ancient tribes where people had to walk around the food before eating. Hahaha, Eito, I am sooo done. T.T
There was this part where Yoko hugged Subaru from behind, and Yoko kept on making "rawr" noises (much like an animal ready to eat another animal, something like that), and Subaru was like 'OMG NOT ME PLS, EAT ANOTHER ANIMAL PLS", but it happened around 3-4x, and it was already turning into something porn-y, and again, @lakuru and I were talking about how this could turn into porn. HAHAHAHAHA THESE GUYS, REALLY.
ANATA E - A video about a letter was flashed in the screen. Another tear-jerker / feels-smashing song. T.T Eito mellow songs are really good. T.T
HESOMAGARI - Performed at stage#1. They did that aerobic (or ERObic, lol) dance again. xD They performed it last night at NHK Kouhaku, with the same costume. HIHIHI XD
ZUKKOKE OTOKOMICHI & MUSEKININ HERO - They roamed around the dome. We were all like dancing with them already. Those hand gestures. I won't forget this part, really. <3 Makes you feel one with Eito and the Eighters. :')
YOUR WULITZER - Band session, played at stage#1. I mistook it for Misetekure (lol, I really did. HAHAHA) because Yasu's guitar was used an an intro. I really enjoyed this song. Ugh for Ryo's first verse. T.T Too precious <3 <3 (Also one of my faves in the album btw.)
WEST SIDE - Subaru's voice. T___T Really. How can I express my love for this song? T.T The guitar. The bass. The drums. The vocals. OMG <3 <3
RESCUE RESCUE - Also one of my favorites in the album. This song's too good. "LESKYUU LESKYUUUU for your love, sugu ni LESKYUU LESKYUUUU for your peace~" xD
EIGHTOPOP - This was I think the part where they threw their freebies to the fans using those guns. Another memorable part because Maru and Ryo were at the same car. T.T Ryo threw his freebie towards us, and it landed quite near to us.
T.T Seconds later, MARU ALSO THREW HIS FREEBIE TOWARDS US, (YES, MY DIRECTION, I WASN'T DREAMING OR ANYTHING) and it landed in front of me, just 10 METERS AWAY FROM ME. T___T And I was almost near to tears because I could have caught it. If Maru only used more force. T.T I could have caught it. T.T But it's okay. Better luck next time, bb. <3
ALL IS WELL - This was their last song. I got the feels of Aoshashin from 8UPPERS DVD. It was very similar. Yasu was the one who spoke in behalf of the group. He thanked us for being there, and that he was very thankful that we were their "first audience" for this year. /hides and cries/
I didn't expect this song to send me to tears. In the end, my two friends were also crying. I think most Eighters did. I was already using Maru's uchiwa to cover my face because my face was already covered with tears. T.T
That was one proud moment for me because these guys started from scratch, they have such a sacrificing history, and being with thousands of their fans, right at that dome, was such a fulfilling moment. You know, that motherly feeling when a child has this achievement. I just can't explain it, but that moment was when I felt glad I settled with that group; that I am an Eighter. I want to see them again, maybe on their 10th anniversary (which is this year).

KOKO NI SHIKANAI KESHIKI - Band again. This song helped me get through my summer class last school year. T.T Such a simple yet perfect song. Them dressed in comfy Kanjani8 mouth shirts. :D
IT'S MY SOUL - Of course, a K8 con won't be complete without this song. I remember the pv of this song traumatized me before, and aroused my curiosity over who K8 was. Because of that pv, I am here now, singing and dancing to that 'traumatizing' song. LOL
It was nice to see thousands of people doing the hand movements of that song. <3
MONJAI BEAT - They roamed around again. This time, when Maru passed by our direction, I raised my uchiwa up to my face, and guess what. He looked at me and WAVED AT ME NONSTOP and I died. T_____T Even though his freebie didn't reach me, he waved at me. Okay, such a fulfilling first time to see him. :') Spending too much on plane tickets, accommodation and con ticket was worth it. <3 I love you, Maru. ^__^

We called them for a second encore but it was really the end.
When the Eighters were already leaving the dome, my two friends and I remained on our seats. We suggested remaining so we can make the most of our concert experience. I was no longer crying, instead, I was wearing this fulfilled smile, but when I looked at my two friends, they were crying. xD They said they didn't expect Eito to get into their hearts like that, although they already went to an Eito con in the past. <3 <3 /cries/
In the end, we went out when almost 90% of Eighters were already outside. My two friends did not buy any K8 concert goods, but when we went outside, they fell in line so they could buy the pamphlet, bag and penlight. They said, "We're going to buy some stuffs because they made us cry."
REALIZATIONS AFTER THE CON:
1. K8 is such a precious group. I can't see them as an idol group but as a band just trying to enjoy music and express themselves. I am so glad that I'm an Eighter. I am so glad that it's these 7 people. <3 T.T
2. Ryo is soooooo handsome despite the creepiness.
3. Maru is such an adorable human being. And extremely hot when serious. xD
4. Hina is admirable.
5. Yasu is kawaii, okay. :3
6. Yoko laughs really loud. Uncontrollable. xD But he can be hot sometimes! :))
7. Tacchon is really a diva. But he turns into someone cool when he plays the drums (much like Maru's unpredictable personality, but when he plays the bass, turns into someone rape-able. xD)
8. Subaru's voice is loud and powerful. Thank you, ossan. ;')
