I need to cement what I'm going to do this summer. I realized that, um, everyone else pretty much has their business in order and that I just sort of don't. I could go the lazy route and just work at the sushi restaurant the family's opening this summer (read: easy and hours on my own terms) or find a longer-term internship/glorified volunteer position that will look better on a resume.
More realistically: Boat People SOS, which works within the Vietnamese community or
Less realistically: Southern Poverty Law Center
BPSS is only more realistic in that I know there are positions open there, and SPLC less so because I don't know if there are any there, at least on the coast office. If either of these work out, I'd still probably be working at the restaurant, my parents expect me to anyhow.
