Notes: Fluff on a stick…no really. It is.
His cup of half drank cola fell to the ground forgotten. His mouth hung nearly to his sneakers, his brown eyes widened. These people were clearly not human.
The muscly one dragged a half unconscious armed robber by the arm. The robber had mud on his face from where the muscly one had thrown him into the ground with moves rarely seen outside the Cineplex. Meanwhile, the man with the dark complexion had shot one robber and chased after the other with lightning speed. When all was said and done the only thing the boy could say was “Wow.”
Muscle man turned and gave him a lopsided grin. “It’s what we do, kid.” He took off his baseball cap, placing it on the kid’s head. It dangled half over his face.
“Colby come on.” He heard the other man call. The kid pushed the cap from his eyes in time to see them both walking away. On their jackets was a three letter insignia-like superman!-that read FBI.
The kid clutched the hat to his chest. He didn’t know what the letters meant or who these men were, but he knew one thing for sure. They were Super Heroes.
