Threadhopping: So long as you're not just randomly interrupting things, sure. If it looks important, ask first.
Fourthwalling: Please ask, since some things I'm fine with. Just be prepared for Simon to think your character is insane, because he probably will.
Offensive subjects (elaborate): Just use your best judgment. I'll let you know if you cross a line.

Hugging this character: Sure, if you want to break his brain.
Kissing this character: If you REALLY want to break his brain. Also, you know he's kind of undead, right?
Flirting with this character: There is a very good chance he won't notice. Or you'll break his brain.
Fighting with this character: Inadvisable, but hey, your funeral. Unless it's sparring, then he's not going to be careful not to hurt anyone too bad.
Injuring this character (include limits and severity): I'd really prefer a heads up first, but odds are I'll be fine with it.
Killing this character: Ask first. Especially since it's kind of hard.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Extremely inadvisable, there are things in there you do not want to find. Empaths might want to stay the hell out of there too, considering he's in a constant amount of pain, both physical and mental. Still, so long as it's nothing major (like "I KNOW HOW TO KILL YOU NOW!" etc.), I'm inclined to say go for it. Simon might not be happy, but that's your problem, not mine.
Warnings: Seriously, empaths / telepaths should be really cautious about poking around inside his head. He's seen, and done, some pretty bad things. The latter was more because he had no idea they were bad (learning that death is permanent was a recent thing with him), but the former because it's his obligation to fight the bad things. He's also still got the information / images stored from a sex offender who was planning to abduct, rape, and murder a middle school girl in his head, and you REALLY do not want to stumble across that. On the plus side, since everything is stored as images, you'll at least see that they weren't SIMON'S memories, but somehow I doubt that'd help anyone feel better.
