Well it has been about two months since my last "state of things" post, so here goes:
I worked for 29 days straight between thanksgiving and christmas with only one day off. Christmas was pretty good to me.
My mother and sister came to visit me right before new years and that was grand. I love them dearly. It meant a lot to me that they came out and saw me. They brought me a carry-on-size-suitcase full of tamales. I've been feasting on those daily.
Just as I was finally going to finish off my single speed conversion, my frame breaks. I don't know exactly how serious it is or if it is covered under warranty. I am going to call Corvallis Cyclery tomorrow and see what all they might be able to do for me. From what I have researched via google it seems that even if it is covered under warranty I will have to pay to have the frame stripped of parts, shipped to Dahon, shipped back to me and reassembled by the LBS. Which is all totally fine by me except I may as well be buying a new bike for what it is going to end up costing me. So I do not know. I don't even feel this bummed out when one of our hamsters dies. I mean my bike is my main form of commuting. I just do not know. We will see, I suppose, we will see.
I am really infatuated with Ozomatli right now. They are pretty sweet.
