(no subject)
So MACRoCk was amazing again this year. I found Pattern is Movement, the Rah Brahs and Fin Fang Foom were suprisingly good Sparrows Swarm and Sing blew me away. I wish I'd seen Owen but Aloha made up for it. The Wrens were amazing as always but the highlight for the weekend (aside from Mark practically dying from "ten star spicy" Thai food) was most definately Saxon Shore.
Oh, and spending HOURS digging through boxes and boxes of old records:
To be fair, only the top 1/3rd of the records are mine. The Sparrows Swarm and Sing CD is wrapped in parchment and tied with twine to a peice of wood that has stuff etched/drawn/burned into it. That book is the new CD from the Extrodinaires that Mark picked up.
I'm totally doing something like one of those when I eventually put a CD out.
