So.

This is what will happen in the next four years. In America and the world, somewhat respectively:

- there will be no bipartisanship
- there will be no oil-containing wildlife reserves
- there will be no trees
- there will be no oil
- there will be no ozone
- there will be no gay unions
- there will be no allies that are not somehow dependent upon us
- there will be no goodwill
- there will be no response to criticism because
- there will be no objectivity

- there will be petty spats in the government
- there will be governments that support us while their citizens protest
- there will be redefined environmental regulations
- there will be false optimism
- there will be a refusal to admit mistakes
- there will be a refusal to compromise
- there will be hate and resentment
- there will be American-led liberations
- there will be concervative Christianity as a means of government
- there will be emotional cathphrases in lieu of truth

and that is what will happen. It's like I said in my last post-- conservatives are saying he's been given a "mandate" by the American people. Let me share quotes from this article, Terrorism, Iraq and Economy Are at Top of His Agenda, b Adam Nagourney, from NYTimes.com:

" 'I want to speak to every person who voted for my opponent,' [the President] said. 'To make this nation stronger and better, I will need your support and I will work to earn it. I will do all I can do to deserve your trust. A new term is a new opportunity to reach out to the whole nation. We have one country, one Constitution and one future that binds us.' "

" 'I don't think a 51-49 election is any mandate,' Terry McAuliffe, the Democratic National Committee chairman, said in an interview. 'George Bush won, and I congratulate him on that. They ran a very effective campaign and he won. They need to be very careful that they now need to govern from the middle in a bipartisan way. This country as we saw in the election is very evenly split.' "

Oh Mister President, please, please don't think that just because you've won, the whole country is behind you, oh please, please don't think that this is a divine right to do whatever you think is okay, oh please, please, listen to your people, oh please, please, calm down, you can still make up for what you've done and what half your country thinks you have--

REPRISE OF LAST POST: I think that he will believe that, because he has been reelected, he has been right all along. And I think that he will see that, since he has been right all along, he should not mediate but should further those policies which have been, obviously, right all along.

I think everyone is right when everyone says the President now has no need to tie himself down or keep himself muted, because he has no future campaign to worry about.

Although I suppose that, like Haru, I'm glad we have a winner and no legal battles. That would only make it worse. Now if I can just get by without being driven insane by people who insist there was cheating happening...

The New York Times thinks that Edwards will run for president in 2008.

Praise God, when he does, he'll get elected or de-lected WITH MY HELP.

The end.
