omfg, it hurts!

Hopefully my poor body will adjust ^_^;; Today I go to Walmart to get gel insoles and a new knee brace because DAMN my feet hurt. D:

But hopefully the paychecks will make up for it [base pay + shift differential + season differential + my REAP (basically a bonus for fast and accurate work) + my Pod (Group's) REAP] Yeah. I think it will =)

One of the girls in my training class fainted today, like 5 minutes before it was time to clock out.. I was talking to her, leaning back on one of the tables and she was leaning against the table that had the machine on it [they face each other, about 3 feet apart] The table I was leaning on had a little shelf on the bottom, a few inches off the ground (this is important). She was saying she felt like she was going to faint - I told her to sit down, as another one of the girls had been sitting down a few times because she felt sick...

Then I turned away to be nosey and see what our trainer was talking about [she was on the other side of the table, behind me] and I started to turn back around and felt a thud - Chlovea [sp?] just fainted right into me. I tried to catch her but couldn't because of the odd angle I was at and she fell, brushing off me and landing with her head on the shelf. Luckily I think I cushioned her fall enough that she didn't hurt her head (she was back awake no more than a few minutes after she fell, and was talking with us)

She crushed my finger ;_; Owwie! As if I wasn't in enough pain already, lols.

The machines are sooo simple but it was so damned boring. We were upstairs on the machines from 2:30 until 6:30 playing around with scraps [ie, stuff that people screwed up on, so it was garbage], but there's only so many times you can find room to cram an embroider on them without overlapping previous ones XD; My first one looked sooo pretty <3 The woman who shared the machine with me embroidered one thing, then sat down for the rest of the night. Literally. She did nothing but clean up some minor stuff. I think she's aiming to be put on the support staff rather than operator. I did about 4 pieces and started two others (but the machine messed up so I didn't finish them) before I stopped because I was bored (and they can't give us real orders yet, FAH)
