Eternity and a Laddle
I met a certain Laddle today! She called me after I had soothed the ego of my irate girlfriend and was on my way to fix my grandfather's pc. We set to meet about 6:15-6:30ish pm and have dinner at a local Indian resturant, because Laddle had only had Indian food once before, and I eat at Shalimar every chance I get. So, we planned for dinner and a tour of the city.
We met a McDonald's near MacDill, and while I was waiting a scary older guy asked if he could sit with me. I told him I was waiting for someone, and he said he'd be over there if they didn't show up. Thankfully, Laddle, Julie, Krillin and Julie's sister showed up pretty soon afterwards and Laddle presented me with a Tiffany's calender that she and Kei had picked out for me. <3 After a promise from me not to kill Laddle, they released her into my custody and we headed off to find the ever elusive Shalimar resturant at 204 Morgan st.
After wandering around downtown I was able to find Shalimar! We went in, and had a lovely dinner and rehashed old MW memories, and gossiped a bit about current stuff. Laddle also shed some light on my appointment to the SM so early on in my MW career. Apparently the oldest of the 'Old Guard' was impressed by my dressing down of a girl who tried to seperate Sailors Neptune and Uranus, for a mere plot point. <3 Afterwards, I showed laddle what little there was of Tampa, including the port, Ybor, Channelside, UT, and the major points in my history... Our random chattings was occasionally interupted with "And that's where I got in an accident" or "that's my HS." and "My middle school didn't always look like a prison."
I can only hope Laddle has as good a time as I did, and that our pictures turn out! Speaking of which, I'm going to u/l the pictures Seiji, ChrisPat and I took when they came to visit me in Staug. <3 Or atleast I will as soon as I find my stupid memory card adapter. x.x
In other awesome news: I found my Clue and Serendipity dvds <3 Now I just need to find my Royal Tennebaums one.
