Argh! I hate being in another town, and therefore, having long conversations that kill my cell battery! My Xmas went well, and I hope everyone else's did too! I have a new poster for my dorm, although god knows where I'm going to put it... Although, I did get a new Andy Warhol shirt <3<3 and a necklace that's probably going to be worn as often as the chinese character on my choker [it says wealth/prosperity before anyone asks]. The new necklace has 3 rings on it and its kinda cheesey but in a nifty way, they're rings for strength, wisdom and 'namaste'. I'm also bringing a sheepskin back to the dorm with me. If you see me wandering around with what looks like a furry mantle, or a leather shawl, its just the sheepskin. Same if you walk in and I'm cuddling up to something furry. Its not a pet... just a sheepskin. <3
"No one understands me... Sharpshooters are loners by nature... We hone our instincts, pour our whole being into a single bullet. The pressure of the moment... An instant of tension... That's what... I have to face alone... It's not easy." Irvine from FF8.
My apologies to anyone who called me during my nap yesterday/2 days ago/Chrismas, but you did call while I was sleeping.
Happy News Years! Happy first 2 days of Kwanza!
Umoja (oo-MO-jah) Unity stresses the importance of togetherness for the family and the community, which is reflected in the African saying, "I am We," or "I am because We are."
Kujichagulia (koo-gee-cha-goo-LEE-yah) Self-Determination requires that we define our common interests and make decisions that are in the best interest of our family and community.
[Like last year, I'll try and keep up with the days of Kwanza, maybe this year I'll suceed!]
