For about a year and a half or so, I've been having toothaches on and off due to my wisdom tooth growing in. I finally got around to seeing my dentist about it on Tuesday. I apparently have at least two growing in and he decided to show me an X-ray of them both. It wasn't a pretty sight.
Instead of growing straight up, the one that's been causing me the most pain is apparently growing in a slant toward my other back tooth. It was really interesting to see this on X-ray, because I had been suspecting as much since the pain began. I had figured that my wisdom tooth had been shifting my other teeth and that's why I was feeling so much pain. It's just a little odd because I'll go months without any pain and then suddenly...the tooth will ache like nobody's business. XD
Luckily the last time I was in pain was around July or August, I haven't felt any pain since. But I decided it was time to just go ahead and have it pulled out. Made an appointment with an oral surgeon set for later in October.
I don't know whether to fear or look forward to this happening to me --->
