Battle with a Centipede//Random things
>o< Eeeek!!! Just saw a centipede run up the wall beside me. If its intention was to freak me out, the centipede succeeded-- hands down. As soon as I saw it, I ran for the nearest household spray I could find. And that spray turned out to be "Febreze". I quickly sprayed the darn thing and it eventually fell to the ground. From there I proceeded to smash it in with the hind leg of a chair nearby. X3 And let me tell you...I sure hope it's dead cuz I didn't see it moving after that. In fact...I didn't see it at all. So I'm gonna assume it's still smashed and stuck to the bottom of the chair leg. Of which, I won't be lifting up to verify its proposed fate out of fear that it's elsewhere roaming free. Wherein, I'd like to apply the theory that 'what I don't know wont hurt me.'
Was in DC the other day and took my camera along with me. This is just a random shot. The weather has been pleasant this past week, although still hot. But the evenings are definitely cooling down. I'm looking forward to cooler weather this Fall.
Today we ate at Vie de France near L'Efant Plaza. Actually, I think the only time I've eaten at Vie de France was in Japan. So was kind of surprised to see it here. It reminded me of my cafe-hopping days in Japan. Anyhow, I wasn't really hungry so I decided to go for something light. I had a fruit bowl and a chocolate chip cookie. Loved the fresh fruit and the cookie was delicious. My sis had some dessert and then she decided she was hungrier than that and had a bread bowl with soup inside it. I didn't even know they made those at Vie de France. I usually just had tea or a pastry in Tokyo. So now I'm kind of curious if the menus are the same here.
HURRAY!! New Merlin episodes are coming soon! AS IN, I should be able to see SEASON 3 this weekend. And from what I've heard spoiler-wise, I like what I hears. Really, REALLY looking forward to it.
I'm also looking forward to the new season of tv that is coming out. There are a few new shows that I'm definitely going to be keeping my eyes on.
Today, I saw HELLCATS since there wasn't really anything else on. It's only been the first episode but I think it's not bad so far. I shall continue watching next week and see how it goes.
