This was very meaningful to me. I'm watching the BBC show Jekyll, which is a modern day Jekyll and Hyde story and the 'Jekyll' character is having things explained to him. He wants to stop being Hyde and the woman says to him:
"You can't fight him. You will grow weaker and weaker and he will grow stronger. It's that way with every Jekyll and Hyde."
"Then I'll fight him."
"Then he'll kill you."
"Then I won't die."
Damn right.
The pain was so bad last night that it woke me up and I spent most of the night laying rigid and just waiting for it to stop. Abram called and said he didn't need me to watch Monster tonight, which I was glad for since I'm about as much use to anyone right now as a bucket with a hole in it.
