The weekend from hell.
Once again, I sit in Tampa International, waiting for my flight home. The trip in was fine, even if I did have to pay 7 bucks at Newburgh for internet for a couple of hours, but it made the time fly. At least Tampa has free wi-fi, and I can only hope that Atlanta does as well for the hour layover I have there..
The trip was okay.. Got in Friday at about 3, and promptly went to WalMart to get clothes. Two Hawaiian shirts, a pair of shorts and two bottles of Superfood for breakfast. Only one of those shirts is coming home with me, as I couldn't fit the others in my bag. Ah well, mom'll send up a care package in a couple of weeks. We went to Crabby Bills Crabshack in Clearwater for dinner. It wasn't bad, except the 45 minute wait, and the million percent humidity.
I think I had a heat headache all weekend long. It started Friday morning when I woke up, and got progressively worse, I think due to the pressure from the flight. Let's hope we don't have a repeat on the way home.
Saturday went off without a hitch, even though I did have a migrane. The ceremony was held in the condo's clubhouse, so I guess I can be cool that it wasn't in a church, like I thought.
Never got a chance to go in the pool, but I think it was for the better.. The humidity was just killer here, I swear.
I think I got about 3 hours of sleep the entire weekend. I could not sleep anywhere.. between the heat, waking up every hour or so, and the constant pain from the rash that came back for the summer. I can't wait go to home and apply my medicine. I couldn't take it on the plane with me, for it would have surely been confiscated due to the fact that it's a dark purple liquid in a mason jar. :P
I should be home by noon today, if anyone wants to maybe get together and do something. If not, I'll just end up staying home and doing laundry.
