The Update
Well, it's time for that long awaited update. Ok, so maybe it's not so long awaited, but dammit, I'm doing it.
Things are okay, I guess. I work, come home, sleep, work, come home, sleep. It goes over and over. I'm not bothered by it, though.
I went to ROA this past weekend, and it was probably the worst I've ever been to. It was 90 something degrees, I had an 18 hour migrane and I missed half the event because I was trying to sleep it off. My good garb pants split with a HUGE hole in the crotch. When I wasn't laying down, I had to deal with douchebags, and babysit a guy with aspergers syndrome. I would honestly say, it was a terrible weekend, so I left early Sunday morning. I think the best thing was when I went to Borders and bought a couple of books.
I don't think I'm going to be going LARPing for a long while. I know I say this a lot, but this time I think I mean it. I have to find a BBQ or something for the 4th, so I can have a reason to skip out that event, and the August event is already booked with the Healy Party.
Another thing has been bothering be a bit, though. As much as I like being single, I think I miss the sex part of it. It's totally not how I would have normally thought, but I think I wouldn't mind going for some no strings attatched, casual sex. I haven't done that yet, and I figure if most people can do it, then why can't I? I'm not that bad looking of a guy, right? Meh.. It's tough, though. I'm not in a public place anymore, so I can't easily find women to talk to, and I'm not going to bars and crap. I went to Olive Garden a week or so back, and gave the waitress my number, but that yielded nothing. Sucks, too.. She was cute.
I think I've decided to take up a hobby of carrying my camera around with me everywhere I go, so I can take pictures of things I see. It's not nessessarily photography as a hobby, but more like just taking pictures of shit, and then making comments on it.
Ah well.. I should get some sleep now. Need to get up and go to my manly job.
