Alive Again
Thanks to help from a friend, a data recovery company, and a large pile of hardware, I now have a mac in my lap again. Wheeeeee! And there's now some disk dedicated to daily "full live" backups, so that I can keep an image updated that I can just boot off of if I need to replace the hardware. (Yay Firewire.)
Now I need to make a map of things that are part of my work environment - in particular, the "ambient" things that I don't even think of as particular programs, but that I miss when I'm on another system. But for now, just "having it all back" is nice...
