(no subject)
Arrived safely (and a bit drunkenly) in Montreal, despite air pressure making my head explode. Spent 7 or 8 hours with a dear friend trying to re-pressurize my poor ears, and eat fantastic Chinese food.
Con was wonderful, people were wonderful, Montreal is wonderful (if a bit muggy and intimidating to naviagte crosswalks). Am considering a few days extra if I can afford it. Not sure if work will let me. My mindset is precarious enough I might as well do it anyway, but it's not so smurt for the long-term, is it?
