Haha, I live near Richmond too!

Gaston was horrific. I was regaling Libbie with my I-barely-got-out-of-Shockoe Bottom-with-my-life stories the other night!

I was one of the last cars through before it became impassable. Pretty damn scary. Next time I'm leaving work earlier.

I'm a weather junkie. I get off on it and I love it. I just want to be at home and not out in it :)

Hehehhehe, my BFF lives up there too :D

Yeah, you guys won't get anything from this unless it really takes a turn west and stays on that track. I was talking to said BFF about Gaston the other night and remember it now - we didn't get a drop of rain from it, it all stayed west.

True, but mostly in the NE quadrant (the strongest). I'm hoping we won't get anything close to that.

Thank you, love. We just got moved into the hurricane watch zone, but I'm trying to remain calm about it.

This fucker is moving fast, or will be, so whatever we get won't last long. Unlike Isabel who chose to CRAWL and gave us 14 hours of misery.

The downgrade to a 3 was a very happy thing. May it continue to do loose oomph.
