We've done all we can do.
Back deck is cleared off or stuff pushed to the corner, trampoline is taken down, flag is in.
Now all I have to do is survive the next 24 hours with my sanity intact. Having the trampoline down is the biggest release of stress, but these storms still freak me the fuck out.
The worst part? Waiting. You know its coming, you can see it creeping towards you, but there's nothing to do but wait until it's over.
With any luck we won't lose power, but if we do, I'll post updates on Twitter as long as the cell towers hold.
*snuggles all on the East Coast in the path of this bitch*
ETA: One thing that's pissing me off lots. I can't find two sites that agree on what wind speeds were supposed to get. NOAA says 25-39 during the day, with gusts possible, etc and dying down by about 10pm. Weather Underground is about in line with that. The Weather Channel? According to them we're going to have 40-60, gusts to 75 lasting overnight tomorrow night.
Argh.
weather,
hurricane,
bloody wind
