Bad, bad, very bad to accidentally kick the restart button on the front of your computer while uncrossing your knees. Especially when the computer restarts, there by eating the lj entry you just spent twenty minutes on.
Anyways, as I was saying... I am still playing Final Fantasy XI, but not as much as before. There are a couple of reasons. The first being that we are having major issues with the isp, PS2, and the network adapter including but not limited to a black screen of death error message (BSODEM), freezing, fucked up graphics, and sudden, unexplainable disconnects. Ever since the BSODEM (black screen of death error message)I have been very leery of playing FFXI since I don't want to be the one who kills it, or have it die on me. My wife is a bigger FFXI addict than I am, and would kill me if that happened. Especially since that would cut into her playtime even more. Lol, I think she would play more that I do if she could.
The other reason is that I just got some nice, new (to me) very coool games like Naval Ops Commander, Silent Line:Armored Core, and Medal of Honor: Rising Sun just to name a few. That plus the fact that I haven't been feeling very well for the past two weeks with stomach problems hasn't helped. I am really dying to play both FFXI and NOC (Naval Ops Commander) but I can only play one at a time (I play FFXI on our PS2, our computer isn't up to it) and even then I haven't had the desire/ability to brave the illness effects of playing with the stomach problems.
A cool thing is that my wife ,
Shivanera, Amanda and I got to go to our favorite radio morning show's mixer at a local brew pub named Squatters and get to meet the DJs Kerry, Bill and Gina. The food was great, the serve nice but a little slow and the kind of pricey ($9 for a Ruben sandwich). But the sad thing was that the "light appetizers" could been dinner! And weirdest of all, we got hugged by Kerry Jackson!! Not once but twice. Kerry was the most talkative one of the bunch and one of the nicest. Which was not anything we expected, since he comes off a little anti-social on the radio. Amanda got to talk to Kerry's wife Susan, which Amanda had been dying to do ever since she found out that Susan is Korean (my wife is Thai, if you didn't know). But the sad thing was that we forgot to talk to Kerry and Susan about Sushi and several other things that I can't remember now in the excitement.
Well, I am dying to check my favorite webcomics and play my games since I have the PS2 to myself tonight ;>
Your Scorpio Drinking Style
If anyone tells you you've had enough, you'll smirk and keep tippling until you're hog whimpering drunk, out of 100-proof spite.
You like to drink, and screw anyone who has a problem with that.
You see the sauce as something to savor in itself... and not as a personality-altering tool.
If you're depressed, you get self-loathing and seek total obliteration.
But generally, you're a fascinating drinking pal, brilliant conversationalist and dizzying flirt.
You also remember everything -- especially what everyone did when they were blitzed.
Only people you *like* should drink with you!Your Signature CocktailsJust as you can look someone in the eye and smile while secretly plotting their demise, so does the brandy-laced Scorpian Stinger's sweet taste hide a potent amount of alcohol. But you abhor tropical drinks, and you will turn up your nose if you're served a scorpian. You rule watermelon, so break a pitcher of watermelon margaritas will seduce you -- though red wine will do the trick just as well.Your Celebrity Drinking BuddiesHillary Clinton, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bill Gates, Demi Moore, Jenny McCarthy, Tara Reid, P.
