Sad day filled with accomplishment
Well, I just completed my first Supernatural fan vid which I am posting on Youtube later tonight. I want my BFF to check it out and see what she thinks about before I save it. But she saw the first rough version and thought it totally rocked and so do I, so I have no doubt she will be thrilled with the finished version! I feel very accomplished because I am the type person that I start stuff and NEVER finish it, I have a horrible habit of that and I am so happy that I actually started the vid and finished it in about 4 days. I worked my heart out on it so I hope it gets good reviews but if it doesn't it won't kill me because it was more for me than anyone.
I am also sad today because my little brother David (the Dean to my Sam), well he's 19 but he is still my little brother is leaving out today to drive to Raleigh with his recruiter and do his full physical/physical test. He did awesome on his practice test so his recruiter thinks he will do great. We find out tomorrow when he leaves for boot camp and he will gone for about 5 months all together. We are very close so although I am excited he is pursuing this challenge and adventure in his life, I also terribly sad and feeling downright depressed it will be a while before we see him again. The only means of contact we will have with him is through letter when he's at boot camp. I know he's not gone yet but he could be leaving as early as Monday to head out, I'll miss him.
