For no reason, really, I've come to write something...

Last semester, my grades were all right, but not great. But that's what freshman year is for, or at least that's what I keep telling myself.

I moved out of Chris' apartment about a month before Christmas break, lived in my dorm for about a month, moved back in during Christmas break for about a month and a half, and have been in my dorm since then. I kind of like it here better, anyway. Chris and I are mostly doing well, minus the ever-present money problem.

Next semester, Becca, Megan, and someone else (probably Tamara, but maybe Angel if she'd make up her mind) and I are getting a brand new (they open when we move in) 2-story fully furnished 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom, with a walk-in closet for each townhouse. With a free 42" plasma TV, black on black appliances, washer/dryer, free access to the fitness center, free tanning, a huge pool and jacuzzi, computer lab, and a free shuttle to campus. All for a reasonable price, with water bills, internet, and cable included. Go ahead and start being jealous.

For Christmas break, I drove to Dallas to visit Tally for a few days. We got super drunk and Tally learned not to put joints out on Kleenex (potentially pretty hazardous but hilarious at the time). Then I drove back to Huntsville, then on to Tomball, then to Austin, then to Tomball, then to Huntsville, then back to Tomball, and home again. It was a good break.

This semester, I have classes all day on Tuesday/Thursday, and I love it.
11:00 - 12:30 Personal Finance
12:30 - 2:00 Business Math
2:00 - 3:30 Comp II
3:30 - 5:00 Developmental Psych

I also have an internet class, intro to computers or whatnot, which is a carbon copy of BCIS, but with some lady who doesn't know how to use Mozilla that thinks she's the goddess of computers. Personal finance is a lot harder than I expected it to be. My math class fucking sucks, but Becca's in there with me. For English, I have a fat, nerdy, pot-smoking graduate student that can't spell or correctly use grammar, who's seriously the weirdest person I've ever met, and he never keeps us in class for more than half an hour (so I get a lunch break). I've really had bad luck with English classes. Psych is interesting enough but the prof is soooo slowwww and booooring.

I've almost paid off my shit, and I'm really excited to have money again.

I'm having a party for my birthday! And Sheena's fucking coming down or I'm doing to stab her eyes out. Tally's coming down for the weekend, Kinzi's probably coming, and Cris and Taylor are coming down. Ryan and Brittany, and Landis and Erin maybe. And Leif and Matt, maybe Clay and Jason, and Becca and Megan, and maybe more from that group. Oh, and Chris. Donna's gone for the weekend, so that eliminates the drama for the night. ;) If anyone else wants to come, let me know. I'm really excited. If you want to buy me something for my birthday, make it money. Or just give me a call and make me smile.

And lastly, curling is the coolest Olympic sport ever. Seriously.
