funny they would not let me use Uncle Neko. which is the pseudonym i use for illustrating kids books.

Also they have been recently brought up on charges of getting into peoples e-mails and banning users for their opinions and such. Evidently the CIA is involved. One group i am watching on their website just ripped down everything they had on Facebook over this.

and in case you cannot get through the link

I've deactivated the United Starseeds Facebook Account. Below is the letter that I wrote "in the little box" (For those who have never come into contact with the "business end" of a dragon, here it is :) )

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You are in violation of the Federal Wiretapping Act, the Electronic Privacy and Communications Act, Posse Comitatus, and the First Amendments guaranteeing the right to free speech.

Monitoring and censoring private e-mails is against the law. So is suspending people's accounts on the grounds that they are against US National Security for things being said in private emails. You have appointed yourself the FBI prosecutor, judge and jury all in one fell swoop! In fact, you are doing things that not even the US Government is allowed to do by law.

You are a private company and you have NO IMMUNITY UNDER LAW. You can be sued and and have criminal charges pressed against you for the things that you are doing!

Like me there are THOUSANDS of people. (And a copy of this email is being sent to each and EVERY ONE of them. We will file class action lawsuits, press criminal charges against you and hunt you down until each and every single one of you is in jail our out of a job, until you CEASE AND DESIST what you are doing!

Don't waste your time looking to see if there is any anything illegal in this email, because there isn't. I've used no foul language nor threatened anything that the law does not allow me to do. I am a former Federal Government employee and know the system EXTREMELY WELL.

Lotsa Luck cause you're gonna need it!

Huh. I had a friend try "John Smith" once, and he said that one was denied. They might have a list of potentially offensive/suspicious names they automatically block. "Uncle" might be considered a risk of a child molester trying to sign up for an account, for instance. Who knows?

I never heard of this lawsuit. Thanks for the link, though. I found this video in the comments, though four years old, to be rather interesting:
