Heather Graham? That's awesome! Always liked her since Lost in Space and Austin Powers. :) What role is Meredith? I'm really impressed that you already got your hands on the script.
By the way, if there's only on racing scene in the movie, will it be for the movie's ending/climax? That may be a little spoiler-ish.
So she's playing someone related to Dennis' side of story..
At first I thought it'll be mostly about the four family members. Now there's Zac's girlfriend, Dennis' female friend etc.. the cast is expanding. Are there more major characters to be cast except Zac's older brother?
As for your other question - there are obviously still a bunch of characters to come. I would consider Dean's BFF Torgesen as a reasonably biggish role (although it's by no means a lead). Personally, I do expect an unknown for this character but I did for Meredith too (which btw is not a major role), so who knows.

And as a side note, this is by no means a happy family movie. Bahrani is known for his neo-realism and the movie fits right into this category.
