Charlie St. Cloud Round Up

First two random news things:

1) OK, just so everyone knows there is a private test screening set up for Charlie St. Cloud on Thursday evening in LA. Hopefully we'll hear some good things about it from twitter!

2) Rolfe Kent, who scored 17 Again, will score Charlie St. Cloud. Kent has also scored Up in the Air and The Men Who Stare at Goats. I have to say, I really enjoy his work so this should be good.

For more fun, I've got some pics that have popped up more recently from filming.

These pics were taken by a woman in Gibsons and posted on her blog. She also had this to say:

As I work in the only photo lab in Gibsons, I saw all the fan photos, and he was really very generous when it came to pictures and autographs.

I found the blog for the woman they hired to be Amanda Crew's stunt double. Her name is Nikola Girke and she had this to say about her experience filming for Charlie St. Cloud:

It was about mid-October when I was asked to audition for a stunt-double part in a movie (for a sailing scene). I got the part! It was only supposed to be a two day ordeal, but I quickly learned that's not how the film industry works. We went up to Port Renfrew, on the west coast of Vancouver Island to do the shoot, which ended up being a 6 day adventure... On the boat there was a total of 6 of us - 5 guys doing all the work and then hiding for when the helicopter came to take the shots of me sailing the boat "solo". It was a treat to sail on this Open 50 racer.

Over at the Eagle Harbor Yacht Club website, I found some small pics of and news blurbs about the filming that took place at their location.

Last but not least, back on October 9th someone twittered about their Charlie St. Cloud forest set falling apart. They had a link but it never worked. Well randomly I tried it again a while ago and a pic came up! It doesn't seem to be working now (again, lol), but I managed to snag it then...
