So the end of summer has come. Caitlin and I are moving in at Valdosta in less than 3 days...
"It started out just like any other summer, every single joy and fear, that's how we found each other and that's exactly how we found ourselves"
And well, I'm not going to lie, it has been a crazy summer. It has also been a rough summer from the start. The second week of summer my dad has surgery to remove a tumor from his kidney. It scared us all, he had a long and hard recovery, but is back at work and doing great now. Cancer is hitting my family hard, it seems it is just showing up in everyone. I just pray that everyone else is my family will be strong and can get through it.
This was the summer of friendships, laughs, and heart aches. It was really the summer of us finding out who we truely are, and it seems that this summer we finally realized that its time for reality to come and life out on our own is coming soon.
As far as friendships go this summer-- some were totally lost, and some were mended, and some had formed. I'm so happy with the friends I stayed close with this summer and actually hung out with. You guys are the ones that truley mean something to me. I've been dating someone who I absolutely love being around. He always makes me laugh, and I enjoy being around him. A while ago, someone jumped back into my life (many of you know who I'm talking about) and we've finally worked things out and we're closer now than we ever have been before.
Work has been a bitch lately, don't get me wrong I love it, (they want me back for Xmas and I happily agreed). And I love the people I work with. But for the past week or so, it's just like I'd rather be hanging out with people I won't be seeing for a while, and getting ready for school. Tomorrow is my last day. :(
Last week I got home from California. My uncle has a beautiful condo in San Diego a few blocks from the baseball stadium. I love it out there, the weather was perfect. My favorite part was Orange County. I LOVEDDDDDD Newport Beach and Laguna Beach. And my uncles friend was in Titanic! And I hung out and partied with him!!
So, I really need to start packing up all my stuff. I have no idea where Cait and I are going to fit all of our stuff into our dorm room. And let me tell you, our room is going to be SO cute. We can't wait to decorate. I have a full course load first semester (15 hrs). I'm taking Physchology, Sociology, English, History, Health, and Tennis. And I have no Friday classes! Which just so happens to be wonderful since Thursday night is party night.
So, I guess this is Good-bye LJ.
Your whole life is about to change in a way that it will never be the same again. You're opening a new chapter, & you have to give a proper goodbye to the old one. You don't want to miss these memories, even the sad ones, because you'll never get them back again.
