-shrugs- My mom doesn't believe it because I think she's thinking of mentally retarded people with autism... I don't think she wants to think that her baby has a disability. She as well as my brothers and father always thought I was eccentric, a little loopy, and always full of quirks and funny (to them) observations. My eldest brother said he went into Neurophysics because he was interested in how brains work especially ones like mine. lolz. I still don't know if I should take that literally or not.

You are not disabled in any way. The Asperger's just explains what's possibly different with your brain structure, and since you were constantly wondering why you were different.... :)
