I've Got a Lot of Living to Do!

There are girls just ripe for some kissin - and I mean to kiss me a fewI don't have any idea why I'm in such a fantastic mood today. Perhaps it was the nine-hours of sleep I got last night? That's a good theory. To better prepare for my 0700 conference call, I made sure the kids were down and I was in bed by 2100. I remember at one point I ( Read more... )

(I'd had a healthy portion of mozzarella for dinner)

So it's true, then, that cheese makes you delirious?

Aside from the fact that enjoying a musical has NOTHING to do with realism, I find that in my everyday life I do break out into song! Ask anyone who knows me.

All Things Considered, September 16, 2005 · According to a new study by the British Cheese Board, different cheeses can give you different types of dreams. None of the study volunteers reported nightmares from their bedtime snack. NPR's Melissa Block talks about the results of the study with Nigel White, secretary of the British Cheese Board.

Holy was as I had personally expected, but wet isn't too far of a stretch...

Don't you break out into song throughout the day?

To whom are you speaking? I always break into song, but the word "break" has it's own meaning- the lamps around the house are as terrified as inannimate objects can be of me.

I can be sitting at my desk working, suddenly I'm up out of my chair and out of my office, whirlling around singing, "The hills are alive, with the sound of music..."

I'll be sitting around the house watching TV or cleaning or some other dismal, dreary task, and I later find myself running around the house "dancing" (I'm so terrible I can hardly classify the movements as dance) and singing. Mostly I sing songs of my own creation, which comes at the moment it pops from my mouth, but sometimes I sing corny songs from Disney movies I haven't even seen in years.

It's not the moves that count, it's the spirit!

Then you're golden! (of course musicals are particularly entergetic because that's how they're sung - with pomp and fanfare and gusto!)

They say the neon lights are bright on Broadway
They say there's always magic in the air
But when you're walkin' down that street
And you ain't had enough to eat
The glitter rubs right off and you're nowhere

They say the girls are something else on Broadway
But looking at them just gives me the blues
'Cause how ya gonna make some time
When all you got is one thin dime?
And one thin dime won't even shine your shoes

Ha! They say that I won't last too long on Broadway
I'll catch a Greyhound bus for home, they all say
But oh! They're dead wrong, I know they are
'Cause I can play this here guitar
And I won't quit till I'm a star on Broadway

Oh, they're dead wrong, I know they are
'Cause I can play this here guitar
And I won't quit till I'm a star on Broadway
On Broadway
I'm gonna make it, yeah
I'll be a big, big, big man
I'll have my name in lights
Everybody, everybody's gonna know me, yes
All up and down Broadway
Ohhhhh yeah!
