Furthermore, I have to disagree with the Pajamas Media link you posted when the author says
The board’s right-wing faction removed references to “democratic” (or “representative democracy”) when discussing the U.S. form of government. This is a bit of transparent partisan bickering on both sides, each wanting to use the lower-case version of their favored political party’s names (democratic/republican) to describe our form of government. The board’s argument, however, is just as valid as that ( ... )
