Woohoo! I just pulled off a marathon of cards for various people's birthdays. On top of that, I put it in a 8 sheet of paper origami box...oy vey...and filling up that thing was a story in and of itself. So, I made 16 cards for a friend of mine at church. I made: 4 baby shower cards, 4 birthday cards, 4 thank you cards, and 4 blank cards and the dimentions were (4.25in. x 5.5in.). I also made 16 envelopes. However, after making all that, I noticed that there was a ton of extra space surrounding the cards. So then, I made gift tags (I donno how many I made of these gift tags...but I made mini card gift tags (the ones you usually find on gift bags), slightly bigger gift tags (2.5in. x 3in.), 3in.x3in. mini cards (because seriously these don't look so great as gift tags), about 12 cupcake (birthday) gift tags, and 5 rattle tags (baby rattle tags).
Here are the

baby cards Oh boy, all that filled up the whole box. Imagine the mess it left behind...oy vey. So, I'm trying to clean up after the hurricane that I left behind. However, I just realized that my other friend's birthday is also the same day as the above person. Uh oh...so I made 4 blank cards, 4 birthday cards, and 4 baby shower cards. No tags, no extra stuff. I made the origami box to give them to her though. Oops, I didn't make the envelopes yet...uhh...I guess I'll do those 12 envelopes now...6 firm ones and 6 regular paper envelopes.
Oy vey, could this gift making take any longer? I better get a head start on gifts for people...otherwise, it will be a mess...trying to figure out whose birthday and what I do for them. Now, people whom I have to send stuff to...I'll make a smaller set of these cards...since it's kinda hard to fill up an origami box and find a box that will not be crushed and send it via postal service.
Anyway, for Friday, Feb. 5th, Happy birthday to Janette and Caroline. They don't read this, but I need to log it here so that I remember.
