boogy woogy
i have jack johnson stuck in my head from listening it in my sister's car on our way to stonestown and to her house. that was...10 hours ago. so, day after christmas shopping is really not that interesting. maybe i'm just not as hardcore as other people...waking up at what, 5? 6? 7am? shoot. no thanks. i was happy to sleep in and be woken up by my little 2 year old nephew, mitchell. he says his "hi's" like "hi-eeee". it almost sounds like he's speaking japanese. anywho. christmas was a blast. mostly because i wasn't in LA this time and christmas landed on a sunday. kinda bummed i missed the cantata, but oh well. pastor wayne brought out something new (to me) which was good to hear. our prince of peace. amazing, isn't it?
opening gifts was fun. especially while watching the two little boys (mitchie and his brother, aaron, who's 5) ripping the wrapping off, looking at the gift, saying their "oo's" and "wow!", then throwing it aside, and working on the next gift. kids. i love them.
coolest gifts for me: mobiBLU! finally, after these past couple of years without an mp3 player, i will get one with only 2 quarters left of college. i am very excited to join those other busriders who leave reality and space off into their music world. other cool gift: my brother got me a toy! YES. i toY! it's this big yellow plastic gun looking thing that blasts AIR at other people. it's freakin awesome. and i'll be bringing that up to davis for some fun. :D. and finally: a new peacoat. just what i wanted (cuz i picked it out. haha)
and then you got your usual gifts: clothes, which is cool too. :)
anywho. break has been fun. lots of sleeping in, which is definitely a plus. but a big minus is gaining all the weight that i lost during the quarter. well, i guess it's good since i'm being fed by my parents and i don't have to fend for myself while at davis.
alrite, it's 2am. bedtime! night y'all.
