FXCK YOU VERIZONWIRELESS
Verizon Wireless service sucks.
Yesterday I took a stroll to my local VZW (Verizon Wireless) store. My cell phone had been acting up earlier in the week and I thought I might need a new charger. I show up at around 5:20. Signed in and waited.
Eventually my name gets called.
Me: "Hi, I came in because I wanted to buy a new phone charger. But, before I do that I wanted to make sure that the phone isn't damaged."
VZW Rep: "Alright, it might just need it's ports cleaned."
Me: "Cool."
I shifted my weight waiting 5-10 minutes.
Rep gets back and informs me that she was unable to get the power adapter to work and that I needed to either replace my phone or buy a new phone with a new service contract.
Rep: "I'm sorry this phone is no longer under warranty."
Me: "Okay, but, this has been the 2nd time this has happened."
Rep: "Yes I know. So you can either purchase a refurbished phone or buy a new phone."
Me: "Okay, let me get this straight. Either I pay you $$$ to get a crusty ass phone, or I pay your $$$$$$ to get new phone with crusty 2-year service plan?" [not verbatim]
Rep: "Yes. Now I'm not a sales person but let me show you the phones that haven't been giving us problems."
Me: "Ok."
Rep walks over to the ugliest phones. She stops before she even begins.
I grab my phone and charger, and ask to use a phone due to the emergency.
I call around trying to find someone to help calm my nerves before I go ballistic.
Due to the situation [no phone] I opt for a refurb, I mean I'm pretty much fucked if I don't have a phone.
Man fuck this journal. Fuck a fat dick verizon wireless. VZW sucks. I'm going to t-mobile.
