A dear family friend, my aunt’s best friend, whom we adopted into our family, passed away this afternoon. She had been fighting colon cancer for several years now, but it finally got worse within the past few months.

I haven’t anything else really to say about it now. I just didn’t want her to pass without saying goodbye somewhere.
