Backstory Part II
I'm redoing everything for the new community. So if you want backstory, just ask!
Okay, not all but a good deal.
Name: Elizabeth Helen Dorminson
House: Hufflepuff
Character Age: 16 on October 7th
Student Year 5th year
Wand: 11 ½ inches, Phoenix feather core, Rosewood.
Classes: Potions, Transfiguration, Charms, DADA, Herbology, History of Magic, Astronomy, Arithmancy, and Runes.
Elizabeth excels in Charms and Potions and Astronomy. She dislikes Herbology because it means she has to get dirty. Although she loves History of Magic, she claims not to and doesn’t get very good scores. She’s horrific at DADA, and doesn’t really care for Transfigurations. Runes and Arithmancy are average classes.
Flying: Elizabeth does not own a broom, although she enjoys watching cute Quidditch players the sport.
Special abilities/talents: Elizabeth has studied Love Potions and Charms to a great depth and is naturally intuitive about other people’s feelings.
Physical Description: Blue eyes and wavy dark brown hair (which she occasionally straightens). She’s quite tall (5 7")and has pale skin. She tends to wear too much eye makeup. Player Body is Anna Paquin
Bloodline: Pureblood, descending from a long line of slightly inbred English wizards and witches. Her mother (Maria Claire) was a rich Hufflepuff witch who married a conniving, poor Slytherin wizard working at the Ministry. They later discovered they were second cousins, but nothing was done about it.
Character Background/History: Elizabeth is the daughter of two English purebloods. She is the younger of two children. Her older brother was a Slytherin who graduated the year before. He is currently starting a job as a Healer (which he claims is not a girly job). Her father holds a job as the head or Public Relations in the Ministry, while her mother simply entertains company.
She is quite demure with people she doesn’t know, but forms ideas about them in an instant. She’s very clever, and is particularly interested in a job as either and Apothecary owner or as a writer for a magazine. Her other non-magical skills include traditional ballroom dancing, sewing, and writing. She is in no way musically talented, despite her mother’s best efforts to teach her the piano. She’s very much fashion’s slave, and buys trendy clothes. She’s also very, terribly spoiled. As a Hufflepuff, she’s hard working and loyal. She’s highly opinionated and not always willing to admit she’s wrong.
She falls into and out of love quickly, and is fascinated by the whole subject. She’s never gone on a date or been kissed, but is definitely a romantic.
anna_farley - Elizabeth's best friend since... forever. The two visit each other a lot and have known each other from a very young age. They talk about everything. Fashion, school, guys, movies, weather, and whatever else comes to mind. The only thing they don't discuss is...
williamfarley - Elizabeth's main crush. She gets awkward and shellshocked around him and has a slight tendency to stalk follow him around a bit. Has crushed on him since last year, when she visited the Farleys over the summer. Pretty much everyone knows about her crush on William except for, of course, William.
bookwormbri - Elizabeth likes Bri a lot, despite Bri's poking fun at her over her crush(es). The two are friends and hang out quite a bit. They met at some pureblood shindig. They both adore potions and enjoy each others' company.
darianaclaw - Dariana is popular with the guys which makes Eliza equally impressed and jealous. She and Dari are friendly and Elizabeth pesters her occasionally to tell her about guys. They met at a pureblood party a long time ago through Bri.
edward_mcmillan - Eliza likes male Quidditch players. Edward is a male Quidditch player. Therefore, Elizabeth likes Edward. It's simple, see?
rupertwindsorj - Rupert showed Eliza around when she was younger. She thinks he's cool and likes him in a comfortably platonic way.
worldofstages - Elizabeth thinks that Moira's acting skills are incredible, and Moira thinks Elizabeth's sewing skills are incredible. They often get together in the common room and work on theatre-related things. Elizabeth sews and writes, Moira acts.
girltrapshadow - Eliza thinks she's a little weird but they're friendly because they're both pureblood and in the same year. They wouldn't be super close, though, because Eliza has issues with whether Daciana was being real or not.
clover_jennings - Good friends especially since they're in the same house and year. They hang out around the dorms, have fun together, do normal "friend things."
dreamingophelia - Aislin is too distant and aloof for Eliza to actually like her. Elizabeth pretends to like her but she really only tolerates Aislin. She's pretty sure the feeling's mutual.
craftynicodemus - Nico fulfills all of Eliza's romantic thoughts of old century romance. She used to be closer to his younger sister, but with her death Eliza and Nico have gotten to be friends.
affablebrian - Elizabeth thinks Brian is little-boy-cute and likes to help him out. She tries to stop and talk to him in the common room and generally be friendly.
tobias_kinsella - More Quidditch players! They share classes and get along. Elizabeth is generally amused by his antics.

helplesshansen - Elizabbeth likes Malcolm and thinks he needs to get out more. Consequently, she enjoys dragging him places he'd sometimes rather not be.
cassanovaluke - Luke is oh so sexy, in Elizabeth's opinion, but since he's Dari's cousin she's never done anything except get flustured and flattered when he flirts with her. Dari tells her all sorts of things about Luke so she never quite knows what to think.
vince_monroe - He's a pureblood prefect in her House, so Elizabeth sees him enough. Add the fact that he plays Quidditch and we have insta-crush. But in a friendly way. They see each other a lot at various social functions and about the common room. Eliza likes to think of him as a friend.
ella_rain - Elizabeth thinks Ella is very nice and a little too quiet. Elizabeth will go out of her way to make Ella go to various events with her. They're good friends who are the same house and year and they attend some Quidditch games together.
dakota_paige - Eliza sees Dakota around and about as they're in the same house and Dakota's on the Quidditch team. They aren't very close or anything, though.
addie_blackwood - Addie is a bit Gryffindor for Elizabeth, but that doesn't bother Elizabeth too much. And there's the weird Quidditch secrecy scariness between Addie and Anna, but Eliza totally doesn't understand that. Elizabeth and Addie's mothers were best friends during school, and have forced the two together. They share a shaky, somewhat dishonest friendship.
rosalind_alleyn - Rosy is sweet and honest and Elizabeth can't not like her. Eliza sees her around as they share the same house. Additionally, Rosy is the team captain so Elizabeth sees her there too. Elizabeth likes to bother her about William.
dani_littleton - Nice girl. Elizabeth thinks she acts a little funny sometimes, but it's all okay.
timashford - Bri's boyfriend. Good for her. 'Nuff said.
corina_mayfield - Elizabeth's parents are on good terms with her. Eliza thinks she's... interesting. She can't decide if she likes her or not.
thejokingtwin - Taylor is sexy. Eliza likes flirting with him, but also thinks of him as a sort-of friend. Of course, he's the sort-of friend she wouldn't mind snogging.
hannah_salix - Hannah and Elizabeth are great friends. They're family (but hey, they're purebloods, who isn't?) and are kind of crazy.
