The moon has a crooked yellow Cheshire cat grin tonight.
Okay, I'm determined to get this thing back on track. I need to start writing this again; I think it helps get my brain in gear.
Lots of stuff. Spring Break was good, did all that I needed, went to the Renaissance Festival and got two henna paisley tattoos, got my palm and tarot read, and bought a beautiful labradorite necklace (most of my group went as steampunk pirates; as I was the only pseudo-gypsy I got to play the part of hostage/captive).
I don't quite know what else to say except I've been thinking and frustrated. Alot of both. My healing sunburn probably doesn't help much.
The past week was MISERABLE after spring break. I hated almost every day except Thursday and probably Friday.
Thursday was fantastic because I felt totally on top of it in Arabic, moreso than I have been in a while. I did the homework as best I could and found some new tricks to help me understand it. It felt so good when I actually remembered/knew something that a better student than me forgot. I know that's incredibly smug and narcissistic, but it's just so nice to realize you actually KNOW something. And then I got to read about religion for anthropology, which is probably one of my favorite subjects. I think it'd be cool to study religion in anthropology.
Friday and I'm 954-ing. I saw my mom's elementary school production of "Aladdin," and the elephant was great and the costumes were GORGEOUS. I wanted so many of the outfits, including the one my mom got to wear. However, I was ready to kick the sound booth into oblivion because they messed up sound so many times. At one point the LEAD'S MICROPHONE wasn't working and he had to project over loud music and the audience. Thank God this small child has a fantastic set of lungs. The narrators' singing voices were surprisingly good too.
I think, due to some recent circumstances, I shall ponder exclusivity? Exclusitivity? I don't know. That.
It's a long day. I think I'm going to blow off some steam by playing Dragon Age: Journeys.
(Speaking of which I've raised such a hullabaloo over Dragon Age: Origins now my dad wants to look up how much the game's worth.)
P.S. My grandma's here, all the way from Wisconsin! And she brought me an Arabic shirt as a present. I think it's from where my cousin learned Arabic. *g*
