So it is that time of year again to celebrate the fact that I am just one day older but it so happens to be that its the 365th time I've done that so that means its time to up the year counter from 26 to 27 and reset the day back to 0. For those who are interested my current thoughts our that myself and everyone interested in going out to celebrate will be at
Rock Bottom in Chicago. My plan is to get there at 7pm.
I know there are a few people who might be coming out from the burbs. My suggestion for those of you coming is to call me and try to come down to my apartment by about 6 pm. This will save you a lot of money on parking as I can give you a parking pass which costs you nothing whereas parking in the city costs about $20+ and the L-ride will cost you $4 round trip. If you are car pooling with enough people then parking in the city might be worth it. The best way to get there on the L for those that don't know is to take the Blue Line which is down the street from my place to O'Hare and get off at the Washington stop. From there go to the Red Line which is a free transfer and take the Howard L and get off on Grand. Go up the stairs and if you go up the right stairs then you will be right in front of Rock Bottom. If not take a look around you should see it. The ride take maybe 20 minutes so plan accordingly please.
After some dinner and drinking anyone who wants to catch a movie or perhaps checkout some of the late night activities in the city are free to join in. I understand that everyone can't stay out late because of work or school or long drives. Anyone who needs to get in touch with me please call or email me or IM me. I would recommend calling or IM since I can't guarantee I'll get your email in time. Hope to see you all there and if not then I might try and set something up for the weekend for those in the burbs.
