...I'm sorry.

*shakes head* You aren't worthless at all. Please do not think that is the way you are seen.

*distraught* We only want to have Sarim... so maybe we're not a flawless family but that doesn't mean we're unfit to care for him!

Please, please calm down Isis. It won't help at all you being this way.

I do not know why the judge has choosen this but it isn't final. You do not despair so soon.

Atemu's using this. He's using this to buy time for Shizuka. There's no way that the judge could have ruled this way on his own, Anzu, my name was listed on Marik's custody application as well, and that should have been more than enough to prove there's financial and family stability for Sarim.

*looks downcast* Then he...he shouldn't have done this at all huh? I...I would have been ok if this had been the end of it. I would have even accepted if the answer of the judge had not been the one I hoped it to be but...*shakes head* This all went from bad to worse.

Isis...you don't think Atemu-kun actually influenced the judge do you?

Anzu, even if, IF, the judge had found both custody applications 'unfit' as Atemu keeps throwing around, Sarim would have been given to a state ward, not to a personal family with a bias against my brother. That's not at all fair.

Then...he probably did. *closes eyes for a second* It isn't. You are totally right. It isn't. Sarim was...taken from his family all the same. And...I so hoped it wasn't true...

What...*lower tone* what will you do now?

I don't know. I don't want my nephew anywhere near him. Gods, to think I defended him against my brother... how could I have been so wrong about him? I would have never believed that he'd sink so low as to take a personal vendetta against Marik to such lengths as to remove Marik's own son from his family.

I don't know what to say. I do not agree at all with what he did and I'll make sure he knows it. Personal vendetta or not it was wrong either way. Two months or not it does not matter. Sarim is a child and he should be with family. That's what I think at any rate.

Isis...please think carefully before doing anything alright? Let yourself try and gather your thoughts together first.

He doesn't care what anyone thinks of him, Anzu. Since Yuugi apparently supports this decision of his, even though Yuugi was never informed of it before.

I don't care for that either. Even if he doesn't he will have to listen. It is wrong no matter what intentions were behind it.

Yuugi supports him...*shakes head* I rather thought he would.

I'm in disappointed in Yuugi... I never imagined he'd let something like this be allowed, even from Atemu. There are some things that are just fundamentally wrong and husbands or not, I wish Yuugi'd said something.

I didn't have any problem when I thought Atemu was fighting on Shizuka's behalf. Shizuka has as much right to Sarim as Marik. But Atemu has no right whatsoever to him. How could the judge give custody of my nephew to someone who so blatantly hates Sarim's family?

I wish that too. I talked to him and he seemed quite confused in what was happening but if he has taken a position I should know exactly why.

*nods slightly* I do not know and I told him that. What kind of judge can say that both families are unfit? There are more important things than money. Love is the most important thing and...both have that. I don't understand that concept.

Isis...he doesn't hate your family. He does have some grudges against Marik but he doesn't hate you.

The procedure of the court is that if the parents are considered unable to care for the child, the child is then remanded to the nearest blood relative who is both able and willing to care for the child. Meaning either myself or Shizuka's mother.

And even if he doesn't hate us, he doesn't respect us either.

I wasn't...aware of that. Both of you have time and love to give to Sarim...and are family. The judge should have then. *sighs* Very well Isis. I have stated my position in this and I say it again.

I would have accepted Marik having received Sarim without a fuss. I would have been sad if Shizuka had lost the baby. I don't agree with what happened and I am not changing my opinion over this as much temporary as it is said this is.

...I cannot say what he was thinking...and I am sad over his action nevertheless.
