What awesome is
I was reading about a samurai movie made back in 1929, in Japan's silent film era (which apparently went on a lot longer than in the west). Anyway, best title ever. Man Slashing Horse Piercing Sword. Apparently it doesn't really exist anymore because the Allies gathered up all the samurai movies they could find and destroyed them. I guess they felt they were symbols of the fascist government. I'm kind of weird how I'll catch onto a title of something and just obsess over it for a while, even when it's out of proportion with what the reality of the thing actually is.
On the other hand, somebody at some time in his life thought it would be a really good idea to name his movie after a sword that could cut right through a dude and kill his horse in the same stroke. If that's not awesome then I don't want to know what awesome is.
