1) Something random about you: Once crossing the main road, trying to leave Kaho-Sarn road, you confessed your passion for shiny silvery trainers. I found it somewhat strange. Nowadays, four years later, I find myself carrying the very same obsession. Almost each and every shoe I bought recently were either silvery or goldish. Funny, I bet you did not even know you had this effect on me, as an opinion leader.
2) I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you: All the songs in the Sander CD you sent me, of course. The one you drew a mini penguin on. For some reason, Bjork is the distinctive one, perhaps because she is exceptional and special like you.
3) I'll pick a flavor/color of jello to wrestle with you in: One can never be wrong choosing chocolate. That is truly correct dear. Though, I would like to try something green too. Not really sure why, possibly it's your colour.
4) I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me: Yes I did, you caught me (figure of speech only). I had to test your skills somehow, didn't I? Luckily, you passed the test (-;
5) I'll tell you my first memory of you: strange, my memory is fairly different...it was a bright sunny day, too bright for my hung-over eyes anyway. Perhaps it was afternoonish, one can not tell time in the Isle of decadence and pleasure. You were talking to a group of people, I budged in to your conversation, since you seemed like an interesting person to talk to...I believe i made some remarks regarding the prettiest Asian women and we exchanged traveling ideas. Later on, you caught me playing pool, when I thought no one was watching...
6) I'll tell you what animal you remind me of: A green dragon. Mighty and powerful, feared from and yet lonesome and individual at times. Doomed to live eternity by not reuniting with the one he loves.
7) I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you: How serious are you?

You, following in my shiny silvery footsteps! I am so glad to see you proving that the love for this specific footwear is really a part of the generic rules of the Universe, and not just a weird anomaly. I can only hope you didn't adapt to my less fashionable habits, too.. I reckon I can trust you to only pick the good stuff, though.
The mini penguin was one of my graffiti symbols: ready in a second, but clearly a mark of me. During the more rebellious parts of my adolescence (say, every day after 8 PM) I used to spread it in gigantic sizes all over the town walls and subway trains, along with my graffiti name in offending colors. Some of them are still there.
About your first memory: I wondered whether you do remember the beach-episode at all, although I can imagine that both of us were so intoxicated that it is a miracle that even one of us can recall the scene, anyway. I vividly remember the magic conversation we had afterwards, though, sitting at the crossroads of Hat Rin; that might not be the moment that I first saw you, but it sure was the moment you got me. Your spell appeared to be long-lasting (but, luckily enough, without the taste-issues that usually plague this specific kind of milk).
I am flattered to see you comparing me with your favorite animal (I am not so sure I can live up to the expectations that come with it, but let's assume for now that I could). I sure do hope that I can escape from the doomed-for-eternity scenario by coming to see you before the end of times (although a reunion can be looked at from different perspectives). Let's not wait for Armageddon, shall we?
Well, this reply is getting slightly out of hand, because I originally meant it to only answer your last question. Anatole France, pseudonym for Jacques Anatole Thibault (1844-1924), writer of some french classics and social rebel, once said: "Irony is the gaiety of reflection and the joy of wisdom." Or, a little more down to earth, George Saunders (american writer of weird stories) added on this topic: "Irony is just honesty with the volume cranked up."
So, what I mean is that even if I might not always put things so seriously, I still am. Always. Now, that is confusing, isn't it?
