i'm bored
I'm bored, so I'm going to post some random crap for those of you who care. I'm currently home in MO subbing for a teacher on maternity leave. I get to teach drama, which is cool. However, she also has a film studies class and I swear, I'm going to kill someone. It's the hour right before lunch, and it's full of seniors who failed art (some a few times), failed guitar, can't play in band and don't want to act. Seriously though, how hard is it to just watch a movie all hour? There's no homework! Just write down notes. Notes that you'll get to use on the test! Grrrr..... My freshmen in my first 2 hours are great! They all love to play the games and think I'm cool b/c I'm slightly older. Aside from 4th hour, I actually really enjoy teaching (aside from getting up at 6am). Since I know a lil' somethin' about drama, the teacher left me actual lesson plans, so I pretty much get to teach. And the first day she was here, so I got paid to sit in the back and do nothing! Yep- so about 2 1/2 more weeks of this and then it's back to Chicago for the GRE (I'm NOT ready- someone didn't help me with the English section like he said he was going to) and then O-Aide training and finally, orientation (yea for 1st years). School starts for me on Sept 24th.
Hope school's going well for everyone who's in it already! My plan period is over, pray that I don't kill anyone this hour- it just might happen!
