hurray cooking!
Dan's back (:D) which means I finally get to really start cooking again! Here's the menu for tonight (chicken and potato recipe courtesy of PBS- it looks super easy and if anyone is interested, I can send you the link):
- homemade fresh white bread (with the new bread machine I got/bought myself for X-Mas)
- baked chicken with a butter, oregano, lemon rub
- red/new potatoes with a similar rub (plus the new sea salt I bought this morning)
- fresh steamed green beans with butter and garlic salt
- a beautiful white wine (sera_liz, it's one of the white Schlink Haus ones. I LOVE that brand!!)
- oreos for dessert. I offered to make one of my homemade desserts, but Dan said I was cooking too much already
I'm so excited and the more I think about it, the hungrier I get. Nom nom nom We moved Dan's stuff over to his place today. He didn't have that much and our dear friend and his car made it a very easy move. Unfortunately, we can't seem to find the screws for his bed, so it looks like he'll be spending most of this week living with me. Oh drat. Alright, time to get cooking!!
