Rose has a book about etching by a guy named--I'm not joking--Manly Banister. I feel that that would make a perfect drag king name, if perhaps a bit too perfect.
In other news, I got a job! It's only for 4-8 weeks, but I'm now the Temporary Manager of the Merrill Community Center. Their executive director and program director both left, and they need someone to keep the Center running while they find someone else. So, from 9-3, Monday through Friday, I'm it. This will, I think, be a pretty good experience all around. Plus, I'm getting paid (only a little) more than minimum wage. Rock!
Also, Bodel has a blog. One of her English professors is requiring all the students keep a Milton blog (which, I think, is an adorable concept), so I made her a pretty one. Click here.
