The ride up there had been mostly uneventful. Genesis made Ama nervous in her cage through the ride, and once they had gotten home the black cat had shot out of her carrier with nary a sound and he didn't see her for nearly the entire first weekend of break. He had given Genesis a dirty look, but the other man wasn't to be bothered with it and Itachi would hardly hold a grudge for something like that. If Ama was still mad, she would slash Genesis a good one when he least expected.
Itachi was actually waiting for it. She held grudges.
But finding himself seated on the couch, two cups of tea in front of him, surrounded by a sleek and decidedly Asian decor of black and red with hints of blue, the Uchiha waiting for his guest. He nearly blended into the couch with his all black casual. His skin was the only thing that stood out. There were scrolls scatter about the wall in coordination with tables and other accessories and he was glad that the people who lived there when he was away took good care of it. If not, he'd have kicked them out, but there's nothing odder than the feeling of a house in disuse. He didn't want to air out his home for a week just to live in it for two.
Hearing a sound, he lifted his head. Aa. That might be his guest now...
