It's been a while...
Hi everybody!!! Since I haven't updated since the end of last semester-ish, I figured I'd get crackin on that. Anyways, rambling sounds good--I don't have good enough of a memory to write a list of this stuff...
There was a lot of working at Subway, 30-ish hours per week, trying to actually have enough money to fly down to Chile for winter break--good news guys, I got it! I have my ticket now and it only cost $1014! I even get layovers in Costa Rica and Peru, with a small stopover in Guatemala! My passport should be getting here some time in the next month I think.
I got to see Jeff Martin perform at Thursday in the Square! Yup, and then I got to drive my dad's truck home, and well, it's big--and the biggest thing I'd driven I think was a Ford Taurus stationwagon up until that point, and that was on the QEW on the way to Toronto.
Fernanda came down (up? over?) from NYC to visit for a week before she flew back to Chile, and we went camping and tried Canada (which didn't turn out too well, but what are ya gonna do), went to Darien Lake, ate kickass Buffalo pizza and wings, and went to Twelfth Night at Shakespeare in the Park. The time was a little short though, but we can deal.
I came back to San Diego on Thursday, and I didn't get to sleep on the flights because of an overly energetic little girl who was too busy screaming and squealing with delight because she was on a plane for the first time. I survived though, in case you were wondering, and got to buy my textbooks, which came to $468.53!!, for 4 out of my 5 classes...
I've just been sitting on my butt the past few days, seeing a few people I haven't seen since last semester, and crying because classes start tomorrow morning at 8 am, along with a nice long work schedule.
I think that's all for now--I guess I could try to update more often, but we all said that and lied, except for Kelly because she has a physical and mental addiction to this thing. Good bye!
