Blogometer Blues
I'm not going to post the link but the reading level of this blog is elementary school. That means my writing level is elementary school. How depressing is that?
I ran quite a few blogs through the blogometer and the only one I could find above high school level was David L. Edelman of Reston, VA who writes on a high school level. What is above that--the guy who wrote The Echomaker whose books I have never been able to finish? (No, he is not James Joyce and I swear that I will finish a book by Richard Powers one of these days when I have time--I have plenty of time right now, but I just can't seem to write complex sentences. I still express my distaste with words like "sucks". I'm juvenile.
I guess the only solution is to learn another language.
