monday monday da daaa da da da daaaaaa
haha you know that song called 'monday monday' lol. i think it is by the mamas and the papas or some really old band from the 60's, well it just popped in my head and now won't leave!! okay that was random, but felt like sharing.
soooo im in such a good mood today. i seriously am happy and i feel good, which is a step in the right direction. im going to try my best not to get sucked into these spells of sadness and just exist as happily as possible. i am going to drive myself and those close to me, completely mad if i continue sinking into this downward spiral of emotions. plus im getting my period any second, which isn't helping. buddy, what are those bars that you had that helped with moodiness due to PMS? i remember you told me about them from vitamin world. i think i should try them out hehe.
so i had a pretty cool weekend. i met aimee mann on saturday, for the 2nd time. she did an in-store at newbury comics on newbury st. so i just drove in, found a parking spot after driving around for 69 hours hehe and then got to talk to her a bit. she signed her new cd for me and i told her how i met her a couple years ago at berklee and it was so cold and snowing and she remembered. she was like, "yeah it was a really bad snowstorm right?" i was like yeah, thanks for taking the time to talk to us that night. she probably didn't remember at all, but at least she faked it lol. yeah she is so humble and shy, its so adorable.
yeah so last nite, i went out with candi and had a really good time. we had chinese food for dinner and then saw this really dark movie called igby goes down. its seriously depressing but the end is hopeful and i thought that it was really well done. the lead guy in it is macaulay culkin's brother, kieron, who i was so impressed with. here is a pic of him:
yeah so it was a good movie and when i got home, i downloaded it from kazaa so now i own it too hehe.
andddd the best news is that i had such a great convo with my girl last night. i talked way too much but it was wicked late for her and i needed to keep her awake, but it seemed to work since neither of us fell asleep. it was just so obvious why i fell in love with her in the first place. she is so amazing in every way and i hope that she knows i love her with all of my heart. Je t'aime ma cherie.
well nothing else has been going on. work has been cool. i feel important here which is cool since i never really experienced that at the help desk. kris was in the dean's office helping her out and the dean was like, well just send linnea down when she gets in and she can help me out. haha i was like woah, thats pretty cool. whatev, i just am glad to have a good relationship with her. i think its especially important since she is new and i want to get on her good side early.
