Heroes: Hysterical Blindness

Why do I still watch this show?  Just when I think that it has gotten as stupid as possible, it gets worse.  I don't even enjoy mocking it anymore.

Deaf girl can see sound. Fine.  She can also play all musical instruments.  Oh, and now she can crack plaster with her playing.  Hooray.  We get to spend 15 minutes each show watching some noisy things emit colorful clouds of light.  Why?  You know what?  WE FUCKING UNDERSTOOD HER POWER THE FIRST TIME!  REMINDERS ARE POINTLESS AND BORING! Half the episode was spent on this plot line, and it only needed 10 minutes, tops.

Likewise, it took Peter far too long to figure out that he couldn't run fast anymore.  What's the deal with him, anyway?  Can he control which powers he takes or not?  If he can, then he shouldn't have gotten rainbow-vision.  If he can't, then he probably should have absorbed Angela's dream visions.  They touched, didn't they?

And why do Peter and the deaf girl only see certain, convenient noises?  Everything in the city makes noise!  She should have been walking around in a cloud of color, but instead she only sees sirens, jack-hammers and music.

Stupid award of the night, though, goes to the carnival guy.  According to the previews, he knows at least something of who Sylar is...and he decides to welcome him into the circus and try to give his memory back.  You kidding me?  If Sylar remembers who he is, your precious family is a fucking breakfast buffet.

And since they've stuck Sylar in with the carnies, I've lost the one part of this season I actually enjoyed; confused Nathan.

You know what?  I'm too fed up with this show to invest my time in writing a long review, but if anyone else out there has a pet peeve to complain about, leave a reply.  I'd love to join in!
