Angela seemed a little drunk in the restaurant. I think she was downing a whole bottle of champagne herself.
I liked the whistling power. It's about time we saw some different abilities on this show. I read the Sylar plotline totally different. At first, Sylar realized that maybe he was too hasty in wanting to kill his father. He then started learning about himself from his father.
Sylar wasn't going to kill his father as he realized he had been preying on the "weak" all along. Many of the powers he acquired were quiet powers (hearing, lie detection) or the victims were so inapt at using their abilities, they couldn't put up a fight. Sylar also realized, as he has done earlier this volume, that killing is not always the answer. He could have (should have) killed Luke but he did not. He did not kill his mother either. I mean, his father could have asked for regeneration power but he did not. Sylar could have stolen his father's powers, but he did not. Sylar felt betrayed and realized that the fitting punishment would be to abandon his father, allow him to die in pain eventually when he had the ability to heal him.
What was Angela doing having a lunch of champagne and oysters all by herself? Did she have a guest who left when Danko arrived? Is that just a normal day in Petrelli-world?
