I was stunned at the sudden competence displayed by Peter and Matt. Unfortunately it was done with Peter's usual impatient MO, I mean can the guy sit still for two seconds and MAKE A PLAN for once? Yeah sneaking in to the place was great, but forcing the workers to I don't know, do that display the same image on the security cameras thing, or cut the power to the alarms or something more that would help aid their escape would've been good too. Matt's weakness is lamely executed here. Perhaps if there had been hints towards it before, but alas it was a last second "uh ohs, theyz too powerful!" rewrite. They need to give Sylar a weakness like that too. Perhaps he will be unable to use his powers if High School Musical is playing

Why would he need a license to buy a train ticket? I'm pretty sure I've done that without one...but I've only been on commuter rail, so maybe that's different. I confess to much ignorance about trains.
I think that Nathan does want Peter locked up - just not dead. No idea why he told them about Claire, though. If nothing else, you'd think he'd worry about his close relationship to two mutants casting doubt on his own status.
Where I'm from for Amtrak trains you need to show a license or some other form of ID to be able to buy the ticket, and they check the name on the ticket versus the one on your ID when you board. I think it's a security measure so people can't get on cross-country rails while running from the law without a paper trail.
